Project 02 “To Temper Force With Mercy”

This series explores the changes that women bring to the world and the changing roles of women in the 21st century from the perspective of clothing. This power must be gentle and firm. From the 1980s, the rise of female power began with the first 'power suit' designed by Armani. Reexplores the power suit gives women, and how powerful female power can be. "Soft" and "Tough" are represented by the hard fabric of a suit jacket and the soft fabric of organza, respectively. Taking inspiration from translucent geometry and architecture, the overlapping texture of organza expresses the tender and delicate multifaceted nature of women. When the "hard" fabric and the overlapping organza of large shoulder pads and "soft" fabric are combined, perhaps not only the expression of clothing, but also the new thinking of female power.
