Project 03 “Walking in the streets of Xi 'an”

The series is about exploring the traces of the collision between traditional ancient cities and emerging Chinese street culture. As the ancient capital of China for 13 dynasties, Xi 'an has a profound cultural history. This series tells my memories of this city where "ancient" and "young" collide. In the design of this series, I refer to many famous buildings in Xi 'an and the patterns of "Terracotta Warriors" to make prints. The outline of hyperborgy and oversize is inspired by the wear of the current young people. I want to see what kind of possibilities there will be when the two are combined. At the same time, in the choice of fabric, I use the environmentally friendly TPU fabric, which brings more possibilities to this series on the basis of subverting the traditional fabric.
